24 July 2024Speed Improvements in the Contact List - Removing the pop-over fields and replacing them with INFO text fields stored when the _ID fields are input into - Adding a new search field on the #Menu Register to store all of the search fields data - Ensuring every search field on the layout is in the clear search button - Creating a new search field to be equal to 1 when the user hits the search button but reverts to 0 if the new storage field is not equal to all of the search fields combined - Now when a user starts inputting in a search field it won't search on the list until the user then hits the search button - When a user starts typing after a previous search it will set the search variable to 0 as the fields will no longer match - Adding these new fields into the portal relationship and making them active - Search and clear fields now working very well and speed of the portal list increased immenselyCaleb Harvey3h 0minvoiced
5 June 2023Contacts Creation Speed - sped up the process of creating a blank contact by moving all the script steps to the server and passing through the contact ID to load. Speed from 52 seconds @ 200ms ping to 20 seconds. - sped up process of creating a contact using information inside the search fields. Speed from 37 seconds to 7 seconds. - testing script to see hy blank contacts load slower - found a bug with the clearing script that was very taxing on the process so moved clearing formula to when the new contact CARD is exitedCaleb Harvey3h 0minvoiced
