| 4 Mar 2025 | Asset Inspection Type Table - Crete new table called asset inspection type - Link existing records to this table to have one record per inspection checklist linked to the asset - Using the equipment table, create a link to the inspection type ID field to pull through data related to each inspection type - Sort this list based on the sort for inspection type which is based on lowest to highest frequency increment - Create a calculation of each record in a portal on the jobs asset screen to list the inspection dates between the type before and current type in increments - Free text choose the first date from the list and hide the rest until the date is no longer empty - Add a button over the second portal value to take this calculation and run it through a script - Create a new table to hold temporary increment dates - Loop through the calc variable and add new records to the temp table setting the dates - Display this list to the user in a card - Once the user selects a date, set this record date field for the inspection type - Create a new field on the inspection type table to mark the record as a major inspection - Keep the major inspections on the new table portal free entry date fields as they are not based on a recursion formula - Test with multiple different inspection increments successfully - Bring the portal over to the new asset card on the ipad screen - Create new relationships to show the next minor and majour inspection sorted by due date then highest to lowest level of inspection - Show these fields on the new asset ipad card as well - Test changing dates around to t see next inspection date changing successfully - Create a new relationship to show next inspection regardless of level sorted by due date then level - Update the inspection due dates to pull data from these new fields - Now the inspection due date and inspection type auto calcs based of the new table - Still need to spread this method across all asset creation areas in the system | Caleb Harvey | 7h 30m | invoiced |
